We passionately believe that education is critical in delivering improved sustainability outcomes for all societies and communities. In the developing world this is even more poignant as it relates to donor funding. As such the Nemanwa Project Managers, profoundly embody the saying “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
Our vision is to impact rural communities in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa, by instilling a mindset shift that understands the power of education and training as being powerful catalyst for economic development.
HOW IT WORKS
WHAT WE DO
(1) We establish, manage and grow functional Alumni associations.
(2) We organise learning and training events.
(3) We link investors and philanthropists with school-run income-generating projects.
Success is where preparation and opportunity meet.
Our process begins with training the school and its stakeholders on what business involves, what potential businesses they can embark on based on their competitive advantages, how they can integrate learning and child protection in the business and how to ensure corporate governance.
Our financial incentive comes in the form of pre-determined profit share percentages of the business for a predetermined amount of time.

Income generating projects at school level can transfer technical, vocational and business skills to learners both in theory and practice from an early age but that they also hugely subsidise education expenditure.

Such projects speak to issues of innovation, address youth employment and bolster Small and Medium Enterprise development, by optimising on resources to produce significant outputs and outcomes from relatively low start up costs.
